PROJECT MANAGER

The Project Manager will support Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) in North Charleston, SC.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage engineering, financial, logistics, and administrative personnel and interface with prime and subcontractors in support of projects for NIWC.

  • Plan, direct, supervise, and control integration of technical, schedule, budget, and programmatic information.

  • Review and approve all contract deliverables for the Task Order including Travel and Extended Hours Requests, Monthly Task and Cost Reports.

  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Business

  • Minimum of 10 years of direct work experience with C5ISR

  • Minimum of 8 years of direct work experience, to include: design/development, production, installation, and test & evaluation of Satellite Communication (SATCOM) Systems. Four (4) years as manager of SATCOM Systems, to include: supervising project personnel and/or team, scheduling work, writing proposals and/or preparing bids, and experience ordering and/or transporting equipment and material.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Ability to demonstrate skill and ability to analyze and develop innovative solutions to problems.

  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written

    SECURITY CLEARANCE

  • Active DoD Secret clearance required

    TRAVEL

  • Some travel may be required.
