The Leasing Agent is responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for prospective and future tenants.

Responsibilities:

  • Fields and responds to leasing inquiries from prospective tenants. Works to persuasively present information to prospects on housing properties to create applications.

  • Negotiates lease offers; executes and explains leases and related documents to future tenants. Performs leasing activities in accordance with applicable laws to maximize housing occupancy.

  • Works with underwriting and leasing writing teams to channel applicants through the leasing process. Maintains up to date knowledge of Company policies and procedures.

    Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of related experience required.

  • State Real Estate License required.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, planning and analysis skills.

  • Strong relationship management, organizing and customer service skills.

  • Able to meet multiple deadlines.

  • Able to maintain confidentiality.
