ASRC Federal Holding Company Lead Systems Engineer in Charleston, South Carolina

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chief Systems Engineer to lead efforts related to the design, development, integration, testing, and fielding support services for the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic in Charleston, SC. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to various customers, including Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab (MCWL), the Office of Naval Research (ONR), the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD), and various joint customers such as the US Navy, US Marine Corps, US Army, and more. Your work will encompass edge-to-enterprise engineering initiatives, enabling command and control capabilities for the Marine Corps and its mission partners.

  1. Lead and oversee all aspects of system engineering, design, integration, testing, and fielding support services for the assigned projects.

  2. Provide subject matter expertise in areas such as engineering analysis, cybersecurity, modeling and simulation, and requirements management to support experimentation and real-time or simulated war gaming scenarios using functional prototypes.

  3. Work on system capabilities and interfaces, including but not limited to Sensors, Radio Frequency (RF), Command and Control (C2), networks, and Firing.

  4. Ensure that systems meet the highest quality and security standards, including compliance with cybersecurity requirements.

  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain full system life cycle support, from requirements definition to sustainment.

  6. Lead configuration management efforts to ensure proper documentation and version control.

  7. Provide logistics support, including equipment procurement, and work closely with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery.

  8. Develop and deliver training programs to end-users and support personnel.

  9. Manage maintenance activities to ensure systems operate at peak efficiency.

  10. Support fielding and deployment efforts to ensure successful implementation and operation of systems.

Requirements :

  1. Bachelor's degree Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics Software Engineer, Computer Science or computer related degrees only: (Master's degree preferred).

  2. Fifteen (15) years of experience in Command, Control, Communications, Computers Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance to include: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements. Recognized as an expert in C4ISR Projects. Experience may be achieved simultaneously

  3. Strong knowledge of Sensors, Radio Frequency (RF), Command and Control (C2), networks, and Firing systems.

  4. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and compliance.

  5. Proficiency in engineering analysis, modeling and simulation, and requirements management.

  6. Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  7. Demonstrated ability to work in a team and effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.

  8. Experience in supporting fielding and deployment of systems.

  9. Active Top Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
