Zantech is looking for a HR Helpdesk Specialist to directly support those on the front lines and overseas with the issues that directly affect them and their families.

Brief Description of Duties:

  • Selected candidate will augment client Human Resources Specialists in responding to Tier 1 inquiries received via multiple communications channels, including but not limited to phone, fax, postal mail, email, and web-based media.

  • Shall have work experience in the Federal human resources field.

  • Shall be able to perform a variety of transactional, administrative and processing tasks using an established knowledge base system to ensure consistency and conformity of work.

  • Shall have demonstrated experience as an authority in Federal human resources management in all operational and functional areas.

  • Shall have knowledge of the various laws, regulations, polices, and processes that affect the delivery of human resources operations, particularly in a highly technological environment.

  • Shall have a comprehensive knowledge of the sources for answers to Federal human resources questions, issues and proper procedures.

  • Shall know specifically the laws, policies, regulations and processes related to governing the Human Resource processes.

  • Shall have demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of organizational performance metrics and measures.

  • Shall have knowledge of state-of-the-art human capital measures particularly those appropriate and applicable to Federal human resources organizations.

  • It is highly desirable that the contractor has a working knowledge of the unique issues related to tiered shared services models.

The candidate will be responsible for having knowledge in and providing services related to:

  • Benefits enrollment/changes

  • Processing of initial personnel actions

  • Responding to customers' initial questions

  • Leave administration

  • Technical reviews for performance evaluation processing and other areas

  • Retirement packages/eligibility determinations

  • Survivor benefits

  • EOD processing (non-benefits) and check out processing

  • Security clearances, legal clearances and badges/renewals

  • Relocation packages

  • Telework

  • Work-schedule (alternative and others) requests

  • Promotion requests

  • OPF requests

  • Tenure tracking

  • Probationary period (supervisory)

  • Not to Exceed reports

  • Award nomination processing

  • Payroll resolutions

  • Ad hoc reports

  • When actually employed (WAE) cases

Required Experience/Education:

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Candidates shall possess an intermediate level of experience in the human resources management field and be proficient in various contact center workflow software and computer tools.

  • HR certificate is desired

  • Degree in Human Resources Management is desired

  • 3-5 years experience in a Federal Human Resources service setting
