This is a part-time weekend only position. Shifts are 20 hours/week (2 10-hour shifts)

Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

  • Under general supervision, the RN staff nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Trident Health System

  • In collaboration with the patient, the patient’s family and other members of the health care team, the clinical RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates treatment plans

  • The Ambulatory Care RN prepares patients Cardiac catheterizations and EP procedures

  • Also prepares patients and assists in CPRU procedures

  • This position also performs Phase II and III recovery and prepares outpatients for discharge

What qualifications you will need:

  • Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required

  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold and active Compact/Multi-State RN license

  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Heath Care Provider is required upon hire.

  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Heath Care Provider is required upon hire.

  • Previous cardiac care and/or critical care nursing experience required
