A Maintenance Manager at Maple Leaf Community Residences plays a vital role in maintaining homes and delivering exceptional customer service. This consistent year-round position is responsible for completing service requests, proactively identifying service needs, and supporting operational functions.

Responsibilities

  • Survey buildings and mechanical systems to ensure health and safety standards
  • Complete service requests from multiple sources, including phone, email and custom applications
  • Provide basic troubleshooting for service requests to resolve issues promptly
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks
  • Comply with established safety guidelines and procedures
  • Collaborate as needed for internal and third-party inspections to maintain housing quality standards
  • Efficiently manage the use of company inventory and supplies
  • Perform on call (after hours) duties

Skills

  • Proven experience in residential maintenance and repairs
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
  • Customer service-oriented with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Good physical condition and strength

High school diploma or equivalent; clean background check, and clean driving record.
