Job Summary:
Raytheon is seeking a talented and experienced Sr. Information Technology (IT) Specialist to join our team in Chantilly, VA location. This candidate will collaborate with a diverse team to support exciting, critical programs with classified environment. Success in this role means position will support an enterprise Information Technology Operations & Maintenance (O&M) program.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Install, test, and repair telecommunication and information technology hardware, software, to include, Desktop workstations, telephones, VTC's. Working knowledge of VTC, VoIP, Voice Gateways, and CISCO Call Manager, Active Directory, and DHCP.
Review and recommend improvements to operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures and techniques.
Analyze, troubleshoot and repair equipment, cabling and circuit failures.
May assist problem management network engineers perform root cause analysis of chronic or persistent incidents and recommend / implement corrective solutions.
Interact with users resolving problems; Applicant could be asked to provide basic application training and is required to maintain awareness of state-of-the-art office automation technology.
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Must have an active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Candidate must have a current DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification to be considered for employment; either valid CompTIA Security+ CE, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)-Security
Experience with resolving desktop software and hardware incidents.
Experience with supporting end-users
Experience with the installation and configuring of IT desktop equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with using a ticketing system.
Excellence communication and customer-facing skills
Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow instructions and processes with minimal instruction.
Excellent problem-solving skills
Understanding of Service Now, NETS or other ticketing process
CompTIA Security+
Telephone/Video Support
Networking
Experience with Active directory
Familiar with Windows office suite

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
