Knack Works is focused on providing scalable, automated solutions that enable our customers to perform their national security missions in an ever-changing environment of new technologies and evolving threats. Our flagship product, the "Knack Stack," introduces flexible and automated hybrid cloud infrastructure as a service for cloud-agnostic deployments and automation. As a leader, this position plays a critical role in a variety of areas: technical management, software delivery, infrastructure architecture and deployment, and end-to- end system solutions. As a technical team lead, in conjunction with Program leadership, this role provides technical delivery leadership, technical business, resource, and client management for multiple software development infrastructure projects or programs.

  • Must be willing to work on-site in Northern Virginia

  • Possess TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly

  • 10 years of experience managing the development of DevSecOps development environments and systems in the IC, DoD, Federal Government, or commercial entities

  • 10 years of experience with technical solutions for complex highly integrated systems

  • Experience with software platform infrastructure, architecture development, and deployment

  • Must have extensive experience with the design, development, testing, implementation, and governance of web applications, APIs, software application programming frameworks, pipelines, and platforms

  • Experience with managing projects using various SDLC models, CMMI, SAFe, Agile, cloud-enabled solutions, architecture development, and "As a Service" offerings

  • Experience building and managing container environments (Kubernetes, Docker) hosted on Cloud Services (AWS, GCP, AZURE) or hardware-based implementations, including virtualized environments on host machines

  • Experience with infrastructure and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef or Foreman

  • Experience leading project teams

  • Strong communication collaboration

  • Experience as a trusted technical advisor
