SAIC Risk Management Systems Engineer in CHANTILLY, Virginia

Description

Description: SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering and technical advisory services in Chantilly, VA . The successful candidate will:

• Lead the risk issue and opportunity (RIO) process as a member of the risk management team.

• Interface with various site and enterprise level Risk Management boards.

• Interact with Technical Planning Guidance team, architecture steering group, and other strategic forums tied to new acquisitions.

• Develop risk assessments and briefings for a variety of audiences, convey information in a clear and articulate manner to Government leadership.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph.

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM)* and five (5) years or more experience; or master’s in STEM field and three (3) years or more experience. *contract requirement.

• System engineering life cycle experience; familiar with requirements development, interface control documentation, technical specification review, architecture and CONOPS development.

• Ability to work independently to support multiple government customers and large, complex projects to address organization’s needs throughout system development lifecycle.

• Self-starter, readily addresses customer requirements with minimal supervision; defines solutions for broad, abstract topics.

• Motivated to learn, readily applies and shares knowledge.

• Polished communicator (written/verbal), impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgment.

• Proactive at collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholders -- consensus builder.

Desired:

• Direct and current experience with National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).

• Knowledge of GEOINT and SIGINT overall space and ground architecture.

• Familiar with Digital Engineering/Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Agile development, cloud technologies, government technical standards.

• Project management experience with delivered systems.
