Stevenson Consulting, Inc. Regional Estimator in Chantilly, Virginia

Stevenson Consulting, Inc., a full-service engineering consulting firm serving the Mid-Atlantic region, is seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Estimator to join our business development team in Columbia, MD; Chantilly, VA; Ashland, VA; or Midlothian, VA. In this role, you will use project documents and work with our Business Development team to create the scope of work and estimates for our Business Development managers to design proposals. This is a fast-paced job with excellent opportunities for growth.

  Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-proposal duties (drawings/designs)

  • Develop an accurate estimate based on material, equipment, and labor costs

  • Demonstrate teamwork ability to collaborate with multiple departments on projects

  • Oversee and review project plans, requirements, and specifications

  • Understand all bid documents and assess project risks

  • Reviews and estimates with the project team

  • Represents the company in a positive and professional manner

  • Other duties as related and directed

      Requirements

  • Advanced computer skills with various software (including word, excel, design, auto-cad)

  • Extensive knowledge of construction costs and engineering principles

  • Excellent communication (oral/written) and customer service skills

  • Familiarity with Deltek Vision is preferred

  • Driver’s License in good standing
