KBR is seeking a highly qualified Photogrammetrist to provide Systems Engineer Technical Advisor (SETA) support for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Mission Operations Directorate (MOD). MOD o perates, maintains and reports the status of NRO satellites and their associated ground systems, and manages the 24-hour NRO Operations Center (NROC) which, working with U.S Strategic Command, provides defensive space control and space protection, monitors satellite flight safety, and provides space situational awareness.

As a Photogrammetrist , you will support our customer in Springfield, VA by providing expertise in photogrammetry that enables the detailed technical analysis of GEOINT product quality concerns.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight and continuity of knowledge to the team and will support the broad range of assessments

  • Provide expert/senior photogrammetrist services and engineering in support of the full range of traditional and non-traditional imaging systems and products

  • Support assessment of product geolocation accuracy using verified geolocation of a known features, verifying mensuration accuracy through measurement of known objects, calculating ground sample distance, and other photogrammetric analyses as directed

  • Provide expert/senior photogrammetrist services in support of GEOINT product quality assessment planning, execution, results analysis and reporting

  • Demonstrated experience with imaging sensor geometric modeling, covariance error propagation, and multi-variate least squares adjustment

  • Experience testing and analyzing Electro-Optical payload and imagery geolocation and mensuration performance

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex engineering analyses and study results to government and corporate management

  • Demonstrated organizational skills, initiative, self-motivation, ability to work-independently, and sense of project ownership

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph

  • B.S. degree Engineering, Remote Sensing, Physics, Mathematics, or another related field

  • 10+ years of experience working Imagery analysis experience in the Intelligence Community at the national level.

  • Applied knowledge of sensor imaging systems, products, and exploitation processes

  • Knowledge of Electro-Optical and SAR payloads and their Concept of Operations (CONOPs)
