Arlluk Technology Solutions (ATS) , a Koniag Government Services company, is looking for a highly qualified, experienced, and self-motivated individual with a Top-secret Clearance to perform the duties of a .NET Developer to support ATS and our government customer onsite at FBI Records Operation Center (ROC), in Winchester, VA OR Chantilly, VA.

Position Overview:

This position is for a mid-level developer to support the FBI’s Information Management Division by applying information technology solutions to their business processes. This developer would be responsible for development and maintenance of web applications and services. Responsibilities could include all aspects of the software development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, integration, and deployment. This position is in a team environment and involves collaboration with and supporting other team members.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Design and Develop web application functionality using C#.

  • Build rich internet applications using JavaScript, JQuery and other client-side technologies.

  • Develops and maintains web services using WCF, REST, and JSON.

  • Design and develop applications using agile development and SCRUM processes.

  • Adhere to good development practices: documentation, code standards, code/design reviews, optimization and maintainability.

  • Must be analytical, detail oriented and able to translate functional requirements into web-based solutions (i.e., web applications) using advanced technologies.

  • Conduct automated unit and integration tests of product functionality following established testing processes or procedures.

  • Research problems discovered by QA or product support and provide acceptable problem resolution.

  • Research and identify new technologies and developmental tools.

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • 3+ years demonstrated experience developing web applications.

  • 3+ years demonstrated experience developing applications using C#.

  • Proficient in Object Oriented Design and Development.

  • Experience with .NET 3.5, 4.0, or 4.5 framework.

  • Proficient in abstraction, advanced techniques, best practices, and design patterns.

  • Strong problem solving and analysis skills, self-motivated, and able to work and communicate in a team environment.

  • Proficient with client-side technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, and Ajax.

  • Able to communicate fluently in English.

  • Experience developing services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)

  • Experience with Microsoft Access and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, similar degree, or significant software engineering experience (10+ years)

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
