McIntire Solutions Linux System Administrator in Chantilly, Virginia

Title: Linux Administrator

Location:   Chantilly, VA

McIntire Solutions is seeking a Linux Administrator to support our Chantilly Customer.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Utilize your knowledge of Linux, scripting, and Cloud architectures to provide solutions to automate services and processes for a private cloud environment

  • Work with a team to design and create a scalable, resilient, and automated private cloud infrastructure

  • Analyze stakeholder requirements and design constraints to evaluate optimal solutions in compliance with DoD guidelines

  • Build, configure and maintain virtual servers utilizing Linux and scripting skills to automate repetitive tasks

    Required Qualifications

  • Requirements:

  • Logistics experience supporting the US Government

  • Strong business communication skills with strong verbal communications to interface effectively

  • Security + certification is preferred.

  • Requires Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or applicable commercial or DoD experience

  • Microsoft Office Skills including Excel, Office, etc.

  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

  • Type of travel: Continental US
