System One IT Manager (Top Secret Clearance) in Chantilly, Virginia

•IT Manager - 6 month Contract to Permanent | Work location: Alexandria, VA

· Work Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote

· Hourly Rate on Contract: $75/hr.

· Max Conversion Salary: $152K with benefits

· End Client: DOS

Must have a Top Secret Clearance

Must have a PMP

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the production and modification of client's IT Applications.

  • Working with stakeholders and development team to capture and develop requirements into working systems.

  • Coordinating projects across technical teams.

  • Driving consistent standards and approaches throughout development team.

  • Assisting in critical support issues using experience to ascertain the issue, lead the generation of ideas and proposed solutions, and develop the appropriate resolution.

  • Providing strategic and technical advice for client's Legacy IT system projects.

    Qualifications:

  • A degree in the field of computer science or other IT related discipline is preferred.

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

  • Ten years of technical security, information technology, and managerial experience.

  • Solid working knowledge of information technology, technical security systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control, and security standards.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be able to work independently with little to no oversight.
