CACI is currently looking for an experienced all levels of Software Developers for our Infrastructure team. We are developing next generation signals intelligence (SIGINT) and electronic warfare systems for the Department of Defense. Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals on a program that leverages the best practices in Model-Based Systems Engineering and Agile software development to deliver state of the art capability in support of our nation’s warfighters.

As a member of the CACI Spectral Team, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation’s safety, security, and prosperity. Our warfighters are on the front lines, every day, protecting our national security from the increasingly sophisticated and complex threats of our adversaries.

As someone who thinks outside the box, you’ll enjoy creating/ implementing solutions to interesting engineering problems. Using DevSecOps methodologies, you’ll identify constraints and employ creative solutions to break bottlenecks, improve processes, and create efficiencies. Rather than performing repetitive manual tasks you’ll find ways to make automation do the heavy lifting. You will code software using industry standard tools, testing frameworks, CI infrastructure, automated deployments, and design scalable maintenance practices. Your experience with Linux as a real time operating system, bash shell, and scripting in languages such as Python will be indispensable assets.

What You'll Get To Do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC)

  • Collaborate with engineering team to design and implement IaC approach to automate configuration of hardware and software systems.

  • Collaborate across multiple teams to integrate and deploy containerized services into Kubernetes.

  • Collaborate with developer and integration teams to ensure smooth deployments

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • All skill backgrounds with experience as a Software Engineer or related role

  • Understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies

  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell

  • Experience with IaC tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef

  • Experience with Kubernetes

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Kubernetes deployed on bare-metal servers in a multi-node cluster

  • Helm

  • Using IaC in combined Linux and Windows environment

  • Rook and/or Ceph

  • MetalLB

  • Artifactory

  • PXE Boot

  • Hashicorp Vault

  • ActiveMQ

  • Hardening OS and containers to DoD cybersecurity standards

  • NGINX and/or HAProxy

  • FreeIPA

  • Active Directory

  • Secret or higher clearance

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$52,700-$105,400
