What You’ll Get to Do:

As a member of the Software Development Team, you will be supporting the development and administration of several client-specific mission applications. You will join a driven team that will dive into new technologies; integrate existing workflows with innovative levers to offer new capabilities; use ingenuity to automate current manual processes. You will be serving a highly important client mission on a day-to-day basis using your systems administration, cyber security, scripting, database and commercial cloud platform experience. Imagination is a key core attribute you will be to this table. You will maintain existing applications while developing new ones to enhance the client’s competencies.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI with required polygraph

Minimum 5+ years relevant experience

Minimum 2+ years experience working in software engineering, application development and/or web application development and deployment

Ensure reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency of all services

Implement and maintain system monitoring tools/metrics to ensure the health of all services

Partner with information security team to ensure compliance with all security requirements

Support team in creation and maintenance of all documentation for standard operating

Work to understand inefficiencies in O&M support and identify opportunities to increase efficiencies through process changes or automation.

Demonstrated experience and expertise with Python (Djang0), JavaScript (Vue.js, React.js) and ElasticSearch

Demonstrated experience developing in multiple object oriented programming languages (Ruby, Java)

Demonstrated experience working with any one of modern development frameworks (Spring, Rails)

Demonstrated experience developing in Linux Environments

Ability to troubleshoot complex problems in Web Based distributed systems

Experience in any one of the Cloud Computing Platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Compute Engine)

Demonstrated experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile Team environment

Demonstrated experience with SQL,Oracle, MySQL

Demonstrated experience with RESTful Web Services

Demonstrated experience automating system administration tasks using Linux scripting and Python

Demonstrated database experience including knowledge of SQL and NoSQL, and related data stores such as Postgres

Demonstrated experience with commercially available technologies, software development and systems engineering

Demonstrated experience with Javascript, HTML, CSS, SASS, LESS

Demonstrated experience with any one of the major Javascript UI frameworks such as Angular, React and Vue

Demonstrated experience with any one of the major UX frameworks such as Bootstrap, Materialize UI
