Leidos Cyber Instructor - Network Operations in Chantilly, Virginia

Description

The Intelligence Group at Leidos has an opportunity for an experienced Cyber Instructor with a passion for creating and teaching effective and engaging learning experiences.

As a Cyber Instructor with Leidos, you will be tasked with collaborating with a team of instructors to use your expertise in industry-standard instructional strategies and cyber skills to creating effective and engaging lesson experiences and assessment protocols. A successful instructor will have experience with cyber, data, IT and Networks, research, collection and production.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Researching cyber technology domains for trends, vulnerabilities or known flaws to ensure that critical missions are resilient to cyber exploits and attacks

• Implement coding foundation in various languages to create tools and techniques, perform code analysis and conduct code manipulation

• Vulnerability research and analysis,

• Reverse Engineering threats to determine methods of exploitation, malware research, researching innovative tools and techniques

• Development of malicious payloads

• Manipulating code execution

• Create engaging lesson plans using industry-standard instructional strategies

• Deliver content and instruction using varied methods to include real-world operational scenarios, classroom, labs, and web-based instruction.

• Update content development, enhancements, and maintenance in response to customer cyber updates

Basic Qualifications:

• Current TS/SCI with Poly Clearance

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 12 years OR 16years experience in STEM Field

• Minimum of four years of full time work experience in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, business, or other related scientific or technical discipline shall be considered equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.

• Demonstrated experience in IT networking, mobile and desktop operating systems, computer programming and scripting languages, and information technology security products.

• Minimum five (5) years demonstrated experience in network techniques.

• Demonstrated experience conducting system and network vulnerability assessments and leveraging identified vulnerabilities.

• Minimum five (5) years demonstrated experience working within a team to conduct computer network – planning, collection, network navigation.

• Minimum five (5) years of experience demonstrating strong communication skills, ability to clearly and concisely convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in course delivery and instructing to include preparation of technical training courses using multiple methods of learning to include, but not limited to lecture, facilitated discussion, hands-on/experiential/scenario, CBT.

• Minimum one (1) year experience in developing and conducting training or education of personnel within cyber domain.

• Demonstrated experience designing lessons and crafting lesson plans and/or instructor guides incorporating adult learning principles and all essential elements for instruction.

• Minimum three (3) years of Sponsor specific cyber operational tradecraft experience.

• Demonstrated experience operating in Top Secret/Special Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) and unclassified environments.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
