Amentum Contracts Administrator in Chantilly, Virginia

Amentum is seeking a hybrid Contracts Administrator to support our Intelligence business line. The Contracts Administrator will be responsible for all phases of the contract lifecycle, including proposal preparation support, contract administration, risk identification, resolution of contractual issues, and contract closeout. Responsible for ensuring compliance with Government policies and procedures, as well as Company policies and procedures.

  • Ensure contract requirements are met including monitoring cost status, assisting in cost management, and resolution of contractual issues.

  • Review contractual terms and conditions and statements of work for areas of risk and risk mitigation in accordance with company policies and procedures.

  • Requires executing and interpreting government contracts and contract types, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).

  • Support the preparation of proposals in compliance with solicitations and company policies/procedures.

  • Monitor Small Business activities, including coordinating with technical staff to ensure we are meeting our goals.

  • Provide contractual advice in accordance with company policies and procedures, and interface with both internal and external customers to ensure proper contract execution.

  • Negotiation of NDA’s, Teaming Agreements, and Subcontract Agreements.

  • Ability to establish and maintain client relationships with internal and external clients.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to be flexible and change directions when needed.

Minimum Requirement

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience with prime contracts in a government contractor environment.

  • Experience with reviewing contractual terms and conditions and statements of work for areas of risk and risk mitigation in accordance with company policies and procedures.

  • Experience negotiating NDAs, TAs, and subcontract agreements.

  • Strong writing, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • The candidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a polygraph.

Preferred Requirement:

  • An active TS/SCI with polygraph is preferred
