CACI is searching for an established Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Business Development Exec with a demonstrated track record in identifying, qualifying, and winning DHS opportunities in information technology (networks, cloud, application development, data, analytics, cybersecurity, etc.). Focus will be on DHS and other strategically defined Federal Civilian Agencies. You will be responsible for identifying and winning new business worth between $50M and $500M annually. You will work closely with the Vice President of Business Development to develop an overall Account Plan and Engagement Strategy to focus on positioning and capturing new business contracts.
You will be based at our Chantilly, Virginia location and can expect to spend up to 10% of your time on business travel within the continental United States.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Build and Qualify Dept of Homeland Security Business Pipeline. Your primary focus is to identify/maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities that align with CACI’s strategic vision for growth within DHS.
Create, manage, and implement go-to-market plans (to articulate and generate consensus for strategic vision, action plan, competitive intelligence, investments, business case, etc.) within the IT market at DHS.
Engage customers in identifying and shaping opportunities. This includes active communication of filtered actionable intelligence back to Business Group, BD, and functional group staff.
Actively market the Company Brand, establish customer expectations, and shape opportunities by creating white papers, sponsoring in-house demonstrations, and responding to RFIs and similar activities. You will conceptualize the need, organize the correct company participants, and lead the collaboration to completion.
Support Captures and Proposals to maintain continuity across the BD lifecycle, enhancing our ability to win as opportunities pass from qualification into capture and then proposal.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
10+ years performing Business Development (sales, marketing, capture, proposal) activities for opportunities in Information Technology within DHS
Understanding of the DHS technologies, competitive landscape, and vendors that are often selected to deliver these capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Be responsible for identifying and winning new business.
Develop, maintain, and continually progress pipeline of strategically relevant business opportunities through the milestone (gate review) process.
Work with internal solutioning organizations to ensure we are solving new customers greatest challenges.
Responsible for building and maintaining “keeping it sold” strategies.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$119,800 - $263,600
