Overall Summary: The Business Analyst Intern will assist with projects and tasks associated with our BSA (Business System Analyst) team. This role is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field, who is eager to apply their technical skills and gain real-world experience. Primary Responsibilities: Assist in producing and analyzing reports using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Perform data analysis and generate insights using SQL and other analytical tools. Work on projects that involve gathering and analyzing business requirements. Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions. Assist with project intake and lifecycle management in the corporation work management app. Configure the work management app to enhance project management processes. Gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. Collaborate with team members to ensure a helpful and enjoyable user experience. Participate in networking opportunities and professional development activities. Assist in the scoping and gathering user stories for IT systems refactor projects. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to tasks. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience in producing and analyzing reports. Previous experience with Microsoft development a plus. Exposure with data analysis and report generation helpful. Education and Experience: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field. Familiar with the operations of PC's and other gear, such as printers and monitors. Physical Requirements: Ability to work 8 hours consecutively. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to lift PC and other IT equipment that may weigh up to 40 pounds. Ability to work in an office and production environment.
