Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Chandler, AZ.
Job Role and Responsibility:
Act in a lead technical role for Global Utility Service, providing technical guidance and consultation with application teams, clients, and Engineering; provide the strategy, design and engineering for GUS including, upgrades and deployments, from engineering / implementation perspective; design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices; develop detailed design documentation and departmental technical procedures; assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domain; direct the gathering of performance statistics to assist in determining hardware and communication tools needed to support projected transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets; serve in a lead technical role – providing guidance and consultation for application and engineering teams as well as clients; act as an escalation point – providing mentorship to less experienced staff in the resolution of highly complex technical problems; work closely with Product Owner and Business Analyst to understand Business and Product
Owner requirements and translate them in robust working code; create technical stories for the requested effort; participate in Agile ceremonies; understand business and product owner requirements and translate business needs into working code; ensure that quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domains. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week following Agile ceremonies. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, or related technical field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software engineering experience.
Specific skills required:
•5 years of web application development experience;
•5 years of Java experience;
•5 years of experience writing relational database queries for stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning;
•4 years of GitHub experience;
•3 years of experience with external user facing applications; and
•1 year of Autosys experience

Salary: $125,278 - $149,400
