Aerotek Mechanical Assembler in Chandler, Arizona

Hello Job Seekers,

We are currently hiring experience cable assemblers here in one of our semiconductor manufacturing plants in Chandler, AZ.

Hiring Assemblers:

  • $19-$23/hour

  • 1st & 2nd shift

  • Chandler, AZ

Description:

  • Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

  • Install PCB's into the chassis, run cables through the platform and install Drip trays.

  • Cabling, routing, wire crimping

  • Machine teardown and new product build.

  • Responsible for helium leak testing, cabling, module, and sub-assembly testing.

  • Operates hand and power tools to complete assemblies.

  • Reads and interprets work instructions to ensure accuracy of work performed.

  • Performs standard testing and minor and major troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2 + years of experience in a manufacturing / Assembly / cleanroom environment or a combination of education and experience required

  • Needs panel/PDU build experience: Wiring and knowledge of components for the wiring/assembly of Panel and Power Distribution Units.

  • Experience in using assembly tools, helium leak testing, module and sub-assembly testing, and inspection preferred

  • Seeking candidates that are looking for a long term opportunity with room to grow.

  • Good companies to pull from: Boeing, Honeywell, GKN, MD Helicopter, Robertson Fuels or prior mechanics in the military.

Shift & Hours:

  • 1st shift - 6:00am - 2:30pm

  • 2nd shift - 2:30pm - 11:00pm (10% shift premium)
