    Your role:

The In-Process Inspector requires the ability to perform visual, mechanical, and electrical inspection functions in manufacturing areas under direct supervision. This role must be dedicated to the quality function and strive to improve the quality of both the product and processes.

Duties:

  • Performs limited repetitive dimensional and electrical inspection using basic equipment and established procedures with minimum supervision of a higher inspector or supervisor.

  • Need to have mechanical proficiency with an ability implement good record keeping practices as a major part of the duties.

  • Must be diligent and accurate.

  • Must be flexible and able to work with a variety of people and in areas depending on business need.

  • Interpret drawings and written work instructions.

  • Uses a variety of precision measuring instruments including electrical test equipment including calipers, and micrometer.

  • Schedules, plans, and performs assigned or delegated tasks in an efficient manner.

  • Prioritizes feature work such that production delays are minimized or eliminated.

  • Ability to interact directly with customer representatives.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Performs limited repetitive dimensional and electrical inspection using basic equipment and established procedures with minimum supervision of a higher inspector or supervisor.

  • Must possess basic mathematical abilities and be computer literate and is comfortable using different applications.

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

  • If required, attend offsite training classes to maintain certification requirements. (i.e. JSTD)

    Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in the use of mechanical measuring tools (including calipers, and micrometer)

  • Ability to interpret drawings and instructions

  • Good written, verbal, mathematical and analytical skills

  • IPC 600, 610 and JStandard certification preferred

  • Ability to read/write in English

  • High School Degree or GED
