Job Summary:

The General Ledger Accountant is responsible for managing the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of accounting transactions. This role involves reconciling accounts specific to the industry, overseeing month-end processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the overall financial health of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience in the role.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
  • 2-4 years proven experience as a General Ledger Accountant, preferably with exposure to label printing or manufacturing.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Experience in Sage 100 accounting software (proficient preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on production costs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Must be able to multitask and manage competing demands.
