Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Structural Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will get to design structural components for a variety of industrial and infrastructure projects. 100% -remote - MUST have a SE lic.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Performing complex and important engineering tasks efficiently and accurately to support various industrial and infrastructure projects.

  • Preparing engineering computations, quantity takeoffs, estimates, and designs.

  • Preparing, coordinating, and supervising engineering design for assigned projects/tasks.

  • Preparing technical specifications and scope of work descriptions.

  • Coordinating structural engineering activities and other disciplines.

  • Preparing requests for geotechnical investigations.

  • Participating in proposal writing, client meetings, and client presentations.

  • Committing to quality and continuous improvement through innovation, creative thinking, and improved results.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Must be fully conversant with the Uniform Building Code and Standards (UBC), American Concrete Institute (ACI) Cods, and Steel Construction Manual of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).

  • Must have sound overall experience in designing reinforced concrete (cast-in-place and precast construction), structural steel, and masonry structures.

  • Experience working with Autodesk REVIT.

· Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Texas is strongly preferred.

· SE License.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 8+ years of related work experience. Professional Engineer registration may be required

Salary Range:

$81,500.00 - $142,600.00
