Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a Senior Consultant with technical expertise in environmental remediation, statistics, and laboratory methods, instrumentations, and processes. A Senior Technical Lead needs to be versatile as well as have exceptional written and verbal communication and analytical skills. We are looking for a detail-oriented team player to support a team of multi-disciplined professionals in producing deliverables that meet or exceed client and regulatory agency expectations.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide technical guidance for upcoming issues with sample collection, data quality, analytical methods, verification, and validation procedures of environmental data.

  • Interface with analytical laboratories, client, and regulators as needed when dealing with chemistry issues, during PQL studies, and any other studies involving analytical data.

  • Provide technical consulting services for evaluation of environmental regulations, evaluation of environmental regulations, environmental pollutant analysis for regulatory compliance, hazardous waste management and permitting, ensuring compliance with environmental data quality objectives, and for laboratory quality assurance/quality control system requirements.

  • Technical review for adequacy, completeness, defensibility, and regulatory compliance of semi-annual status reports, compliance reports, site manuals, PQL update letters, PFAS related technical memorandums, and other client deliverables.

  • Review of statistical analysis and results of groundwater data including trend analysis (Mann Kendall, Sen’s Test), Outlier Test (Dixon), Goodness of Fit, Upper Control Limits, regression analysis, and Shewhart-Cusum analysis.

  • Serve as technical resource on any feasibility studies and other investigations to evaluate new remedial technologies to identify as supplemental remedial approaches for the project site.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, chemistry, geology or related technical/science field

  • 20+ years of experience in the environmental industry

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills and knowledge of industry practices and environmental rules and regulations

  • Familiarity with the management, reporting requirements, and public relations associated with a Superfund site is highly preferred

  • A diverse background in analytical chemistry, remediation, waste management, site closure, environmental consulting, risk assessment, technical writing, statistical analysis is desired.

  • Expertise with DUMPStat and ProUCL is crucial

Salary Range:

$72.07 - $129.71
