Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior System Administrator to join our team. As a Senior System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our on-premise datacenter infrastructure with a focus on security, reliability, and cost-effectiveness while minimizing impact to user workflows. You will work closely with other IT professionals, developers, and project managers to ensure that the IT infrastructure meets the needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's datacenter infrastructure Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the security and reliability of the IT infrastructure Manage and maintain our virtualization platforms Manage and maintain various server operating systems Implement and debug network infrastructure in conjunction with our network administration team Manage and maintain our storage infrastructure and SAN devices Manage and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions Develop and implement automation solutions using scripting languages to maximize efficiency and minimize errors Provide support to other IT Support Specialists with more complex issues Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users Develop and maintain system documentation and configuration information Qualifications Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Informatics, Computer Information Technology, or related field 5-7 years of experience in system administration or a related field Expertise in virtualization platforms, including VMware and XenServer Expertise in operating systems, including Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux Strong foundation in networking, including familiarity with enterprise switches, routers, firewalls, and gateways Solid understanding of storage infrastructure, including iSCSI and SAN/NAS devices Expertise in backup and disaster recovery solutions Strong foundation in scripting languages, including Bash, PowerShell, Perl, and Python Expertise in unattended installers Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Possess a current or willing to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification Desired Skills

Excellent customer service skills Experience with system architecture and power distribution Experience with Dell storage product lines Experience with Apache web servers Experience with Splunk Experience in risk management frameworks, cybersecurity, and encryption algorithms Experience with policy and procedure documentation for technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with CMMC and NIST publications, including NIST 800-171 Additional Information Compensation: Base salary range is $100,000-130,000 depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus. SEAKR offers a variety of paid leave, such as vacation, sick, bereavement, and FMLA.
