Georgia-Pacific LLC Sr. Process Control Engineer in Cedar Springs, Georgia

[Ensuring the facilitys control systems are operating safely, reliably, and efficiently. Providing troubleshooting and support of the daily manufacturing operations. Providing guidance to manufacturing operations on selection and implementation of process control technologies and strategies. Designing, programming, modifying, and maintaining the mills control systems. Pursuing engineering solutions to resolve equipment deficiencies. Providing guidance, expertise, and oversight to third-party vendors performing equipment upgrades. Applying data analytics to implement advanced automated solutions. Develop, implement, and support advanced process control strategies such as procedural automation and state-based controls.

**[Minimum Requirements:

[Employer requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Paper Science Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in the Pulp and Paper industry.

  • 5 years of experience with Honeywell DCS (TPS and Experion) and PLC based systems including troubleshooting, configuration, and design.
  • 5 years of experience with Allen-Bradley PAC.
  • 3 years of experience with PAS (Plant State Suites).
  • 3 years of experience with Honeywell CPM.
