       PRINCIPAL DUTIES

  • Under direction of professional staff work with students individually or in group settings.

  • Assist with supervision of students (classroom, cafeteria, halls, etc.).

  • Implement behavior management strategies.

  • May include riding the bus with students.

  • May include working one to one with student to complete assigned tasks

  • Student supervision required.

  • Ensuring student safety is required.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist students with the necessary health assistance under the guidance of the nurses.

  • Assist in the preparation of materials used in the educational process.

  • Assist students at mealtime.

  • Assist students in personal hygiene areas.

  • Help get students to and from bus or car.

  • Other duties as may be assigned

  • Assignments may vary based on building and district needs
