QPS EMPLOYMENT GROUP Material Handler in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Hours:1st 6am-4:30pm 4-days per week, 3rd 10pm-6:30am 4-nights per week
QPS Employment Group is working with a lead distribution center that is getting into their busy season. We are looking for many Material Handlers to get ready to join this team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the warehouse facility. This company offers multiple shifts to help fit into your schedule!
Material Handler Responsibilities: - Move materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated places in warehouse or onto trucks - Use pallet jack to move product and load trucks - Stack skids and pallets in designated areas - Complete paperwork on orders going out - Verify packing slip matches items packaged and loaded into trailer - Perform general housekeeping duties
Requirements for Material Handler: - Strong attention to detail - Ability to read and understand basic English - Basic math skills - Bend, reach, and stretch arms frequently - Stand for 10-12 hours - Work in non-climate controlled environment - Lift up to 50lbs 5-10 times per hour
