SMEAD Production Office Associate in CEDAR CITY, Utah

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Support production control functions. Back-up all positions in the Production Office.

Hours 9AM -- 5:30PM Monday through Friday.

PERSONAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work with people as an effective team member

Ability to work with minimal supervision - Must be self directed

Ability to communicate effectively---verbal and written

TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Data collection, entry and reconciliation

Demonstrated computer software competency in Word and Excel, and 10 key data entry

Math skills are essential

Detail oriented (must be patient, and insure accuracy)

JOB DUTIES:
  • Perform Cycle Counts
  • Cross-train and perform all positions in the Production Office as needed to insure productive workflow
  • Back up all positions in the Production Office and Raw Stock
  • Perform all work assignments as designated by appropriate authority - Job may vary with work demands
  • Perform and reconcile aisle counts
  • Update charts and  run reports
  • Must certify on all mobile equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Frequent lifting of 20 of more lbs, with occasional lifting of up to 65 lbs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Sitting, standing, extensive walking, writing, keyboarding, high level of accuracy, ability to effectively communicate verbally, must have easily legible handwriting.

* PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:*

High School Graduate or equivalent

Demonstrated ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions.

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Demonstrated  teamwork and cooperation skills

Must display an excellent work ethic, a high accuracy and productivity level, and above all, a positive and professional attitude.
