DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborates with leadership to translate current and future business goals and develops strategy, initiatives and tactics to meet business objectives in alignment with overall human resource strategies and processes.

Stays current with labor requirements and trends to ensure compliant and competitive practices. Ensures internal processes are effective/compliant and all reporting internal/external requirements are met.

Leads multi-site HR and HSE team responsible for supporting the talent requirements of manufacturing facilities located in Juarez, Mexico.

Partners with leadership to identify and implement organizational structure and skill requirements needed to meet current and future business and functional objectives. Build out of recruitment and training strategy to developed skilled labor needed to manufacture products.

Develops and implements performance management, training and development programs for manufacturing and distribution sites to ensure completion and effectiveness.

Investigates and resolves conflicts by coaching and counseling on human resource matters. Completes robust investigations to resolve reports of misconduct. Ensures consistent and appropriate use of corrective action methods/progressive discipline when applicable.

Develops and implements employee relations initiatives including recognition and engagement activities aimed at creating a safe and inclusive working environment that aids in the effectiveness and retention of all associates.

Leads the health and safety function to ensure employee safety and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

College Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration or related field, required.

7 or more years of human resource management and leadership partnership experience within a maquiladora required .

Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Ability to fluently communicate verbally and through written forums in Spanish and English required.

Experience supporting a Mexico based workforce for a global company headquartered in the United States preferred.

Multi-site HR Management experience preferred.
