Aerotek Tig Welder in Catoosa, Oklahoma

Description:

Leader in design and manufacturing of shell and tube heat exchangers and cooling units. We are currently seeking tig header welders for the night shift. Header welding is highly preferred but not required, must be a good TIG welder. Structural welding candidates will not be considered.

Must be able to pass a 2G TIG Root Flux Core Fill & Cap

Night Shift, 6pm-6am Mon-Fri, Volunteer Saturday Overtime (half days)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Ability to read prints for both required specifications as well as dimensions

Ability to be a self-motivated and highly productive employee who requires minimal supervision and who can efficiently execute a plan to make jobs happen on time within the hours given

Ability to be a team player who can work well with others to achieve company goals

Ability to consistently maintain less than a 5% X-Ray repair rate

Ability to be efficient at fixing X-Ray and UT repairs

Ability to recognize and rectify sub-standard welds to ensure product quality

Ability to be punctual and dependent with a willingness to work hours outside of a standard schedule when required to achieve a task or complete a project

Must be willing to step outside of welding role when a company need arises and perform basic tasks such fit-ups and other minor tasks

Ability to be a team player and be a company-oriented individual who takes pride in their work

Must be a highly safety-oriented individual
