Erickson Living Lead Home Support Aide - Full Time in Catonsville, Maryland

Charlestown is a beautiful 110-acre continuing care retirement community located just minutes from Baltimore in the charming neighborhood of Catonsville, Maryland. We’re part of a growing network of communities developed and managed by Erickson Senior Living, a national provider of senior living and health care with campuses in 11 states—and growing.

We are hiring a Lead Home Care Aide who is a mentor of new and existing home care aides in the community home care agency. This individual also carries out all the tasks and social, personal, and non-medical care that a private duty aide would participate in. In addition, the person in this role will manage the on-call calls one week per month.

Compensation: Starting at $16.00 per hour, based upon years of licensure.

How you will make an impact:

  • Collaborate with the Home Care Manager, participate in new employee orientation to include joint visits and community navigation.

  • Provide an understanding of the aide’s roles and responsibilities.

  • Connect with other aides on their assigned shift to support job satisfaction.

  • Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living in a calm and professional manner.

  • Respect the residents’ privacy, dignity, and safety.

What you will need:

  • Certified as a Home Health Aide, Certified Nursing Assistant, Geriatric Nursing Assistant, or Personal Care Aide per state and federal law and regulations.

  • Must be at least18 years of age.

  • 2-3 years experience as a Home Care/Home Health/Private Duty aide.

  • Experience as a care provider serving the senior population preferred.

  • CPR certification- Maryland only.
