How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

The Financial Analyst will partner with global and plant operations and be a critical leader in the strategic management of finance responsibilities associated with Plant Operations. As business partners, they will proactively identify improvements, work to develop the financial acumen of non-finance employees, and determine and implement short- and long-term strategies concerning efficiency and profitability.

Develop, interpret, and report financial information for our Connectivity & Cable Solutions (CCS)) plants in a timely manner to the Operations leadership team, corporate finance, and plant management in compliance with specified requirements.

  • Work with local and global management teams, assisting them in making financially sound business decisions to maximize profit or minimize costs and develop cost reduction strategies that will meet the business's short—and long-term objectives.

  • Maintain and develop key performance measures and tracking systems for CCS plants to measure progress and identify focus areas for improvement.

  • Lead and develop process improvements to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the CCS plant finance teams and the plants' overall performance.

  • Review and load forecasts for manufacturing variances and PCGS and assist with the annual plan process for the CCS plants and PCGS.

  • Analyze labor costs, material costs, manufacturing overhead and inventory levels and analyze and validate Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR’s) and Profit Improvement Projects (PIP’s).

  • Assure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Policies and SOX 404 requirements. Resolve questions of requirements and internal controls with corporate financial management.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor's degree with a year or more of experience in accounting and finance or an associate degree with four or more years of demonstrated ability in accounting and finance

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving Skills

  • Quick learner with a proven track record for learning and utilizing technology for problem-solving.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written correspondence with individuals at varying levels of authority.

  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Products, including Microsoft Excel.

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

  • Previous experience manufacturing

  • Accounting and finance experience

  • Working knowledge of SAP
