Latham Centers Inc. Wellness Activities Coordinator in Cataumet, Massachusetts

The Wellness Activities Coordinator will have active cooperation & consultation with the Director of Wellness, Director of Prader-Willi Syndrome Services, the Residential Department & Physical Education teacher. Directly responsible to the Director of Wellness. Schedule: 40 hours a week. Mon - Fri 10 am-6 pm. Statement of Responsibilities: Design & develop wellness activities tailored to the specific needs & interests of the students. Plan & execute a variety of fitness classes & mindfulness sessions. Manage the budget for wellness activities, ensuring cost-effective planning. Keep records of student engagement, program attendance & outcomes. Maintain documentation related to program planning & implementation. Attend relevant workshops & conferences to enhance knowledge & skills. Be flexible & adaptable to the changing schedules, needs & preferences of the residents. Provide motivation & encouragement to students on their wellness journey. Foster a positive & inclusive environment for all individuals involved. Coordinate Special Olympic practices, games & tournaments. Fluent English speaking & writing skills, empathy & the ability to listen, good time management skills & professional appearance & demeanor are all required for this position.
