Douglas County Government Senior HVAC Technician in Castle Rock, Colorado

OVERVIEW:

Perform specialized work in the operation, maintenance, diagnostic, repair, adjustment, and alteration of HVAC systems.

This position includes a take-home vehicle and an annual clothing allowance of $400.

Typical work schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6am - 4:30 pm, additional day, evening, weekend and/or holiday hours may be required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Five (5) years of professional HVAC experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS:

Must possess a Federal Universal Refrigeration License issued by the State of Colorado. Must possess a valid Colorado Driver's License upon hire, with complying insurance. A review of motor vehicle records is required at the time of hire and periodically throughout employment. This position requires the successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting through a national database.
