Douglas County Government Seasonal Laborer (Traffic Signs And Markings) in Castle Rock, Colorado

The signs are everywhere . you could be working on a team that keeps Douglas County beautiful, organized, and safe. As a Seasonal Laborer on the Douglas County Signs, Striping and Roadway and Markings crew, you will assist with the manufacture, installation and maintenance of the traffic control signs and pavement markings that are essential to the community infrastructure and safety of the traveling public.

Pay is $20/hour. This is seasonal work (March through November) and includes a 4-day work week during the summer (Monday-Thursday, 7:00-5:30). As a temporary position, no benefits are available.

One day in the city, in the mountains the next Douglas County is diverse and beautiful. Our Signs and Markings Team covers all unincorporated roads in the county, meaning that no day is ever the same for our Signs and Markings Tea

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma or GED. Must be at least 18 years of age.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS:

Possession of Colorado drivers license at time of hire. A copy of Motor Vehicle Record is required at time of interview. Must obtain a Colorado Department of Transportation Flaggers Certification within six weeks of employment.
