Douglas County Government Parks Maintenance Tech I - II in Castle Rock, Colorado

OVERVIEW:

Parks Maintenance Tech I - This is entry-level technical work responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and construction of County parks, parks facilities, trails and open space within the Parks, Trails & Building Grounds.

Parks Maintenance Tech II - This is skilled, technical work responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and construction of County parks, parks facilities, trails and open space within the Parks, Trails & Building Grounds.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Parks Maintenance Tech I:

A high school diploma or GED. Six months of related experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Parks Maintenance Tech II:

A high school diploma or GED. Two years of related experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS:

Must possess a valid Colorado Driver's License upon hire, with complying insurance. Review of motor vehicle record is required at time of hire and periodically throughout employment. Ability to obtain Commercial Class Driver's License (CDL-A) within one year of hire.
