Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist for 2024-2025 School Year

Location: Elementary School located in Castle Rock, CO

Position Overview: Join our team as a Speech-Language Pathologist and become an integral part of our mission to support student success. We're seeking a dedicated professional to provide expert speech and language services to one of our school partners' elementary school community. There will be 2 full time SLPs at this school next school year servicing a caseload of 70 students total (split between 2 SLPs). Our school partner has a large SSN program with several device users. 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.

  • Develop customized intervention plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.

  • Implement engaging therapy sessions that encourage active participation and skill development.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to support students' communication goals within the classroom and beyond.

  • Monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies as necessary to ensure continued growth.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of assessments, progress reports, and treatment plans.

  • Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings to contribute insights and recommendations.

    Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

  • Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment, and intervention strategies.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to adapt to the needs of a diverse student population.
