Job Summary
For our Hill's Pet Nutrition facility in Castiglione delle Stiviere, we are looking for a Quality Documentation Specialist. The Quality Documentation Specialist is responsible for managing the site documentation management systems and ensuring all documentation standards, records, SOPs, and documented processes meet company and regulatory requirements. This position will be responsible for writing, implementing and training new or modified quality programs/processes. This role will support documentation and communication of continuous improvement programs such as management of change, corrective & preventive action and customer complaint reporting.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining site quality documentation management system(s) and ensuring compliance to applicable regulations and internal requirements.
Conducts periodic reviews / audits of the documentation management systems in accordance with internal standards / requirements
Supports the site quality team in the assessment of compliance against internal Global Quality & Food Safety Standards.
Support the execution of the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) programs
Supports customer complaint management program and helps facilitate preventative control implementation
Supports internal site Management of Change (MOC) program and helps track closure and completion of projects
Supports Quality team during internal or external audits
Leads Good Documentation Practices (GDPs) program and trains staff as needed
Supports product release process to ensure all documents related to production are reviewed for all finished product release criteria
Supports closure and verification of findings received during Internal and external audit programs
Education/ Experience Requirements
Qualifications include:
Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Microbiology, Biochemistry or related field
Proficient Knowledge of HACCP, cGMPs, and SPC
1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
English and Italian speaking proficiency
Excellent attention to detail
