IQVIA Analyst - Health Economics in Casablanca, Morocco

We are looking for driven candidates seeking to launch their career in Health Economics and join our regional team based in Casablanca, morocco to help our clients improve their clinical, scientific and commercial results. Role purpose

This role will be based in our office in Casablanca, Morocco and report into the Principal Real World Services, with focus on the French and some international markets supporting our Health Economics team based in Paris. Depending on your background and experience, you will support projects including development and adaptation of economic models (e.g. budget impact, cost-effectiveness), real-world evidence studies using electronic medical records, databases, registries and claims, Health Technology Assessment (HTA) submissions in France, systematic literature reviews, meta-analyses and dissemination of the results by means of posters and manuscripts. You will work closely with a diverse range of peers, project managers and subject matter experts, both in Casablanca and Paris offices.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Contribute in the development and adaptation of medico-economic models (cost-effectiveness, cost-utility and budget impact models).

  • Organize and conduct high quality primary and secondary research studies

  • Conduct evidence synthesis by means of meta-analysis, indirect treatment comparison or network meta-analysis (frequentist or Bayesian) with patient-level and/or aggregate data (e.g. from literature review) from RCTs

  • Contribute to the development of value dossiers and support material for clients

  • Specify and/or extract data from databases; prepare and analyse datasets according to study protocol and SAP

  • Write and present results of analysis appropriate for the intended audience

  • Assist in the dissemination of any relevant findings through technical reports, manuscripts, posters and presentations

  • Assist with client management and attend external meetings

  • Assist with project management and project delivery, including oral presentations

Qualifications and Skills

  • MSc or PhD or equivalent in epidemiology, statistics, biostatistics, health economics or related discipline

  • Ability to develop and adapt pharmaco-economics models (e.g. Markov models)

  • Good understanding of the healthcare industry is a prerequisite

  • Strong numeracy and quantitative skills as well as competency using MS Excel (competency using Visual Basic is a plus)

  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Flexible & problem-solving mindset, excellent attention to detail and ability to check own work so that drafts are delivered to a high quality

  • Strong time-management and organizational skills

  • Attitude to work well as a member of team and to build and manage relationships in a multi-cultural environment

  • Experience working in a consultancy, CRO, pharmaceutical/biotech companies or other service sector in the healthcare industry is a plus

  • Eligibility to work in Morocco without visa sponsorship
