Description:

Company is looking for a Test Engineer who will become an integral member of the Product Validation Team. The candidate will work closely with the engineering communities to develop, design and facilitate performance and reliability testing on various engineered product and components. This individual will partner with NPD, Sustaining Engineering and Quality to develop test procedures, methods and test equipment to drive long term product reliability, product quality and new product introductions. Additional, this person should have creative problem solving skills, hands on ability to design & construct testing fixtures, troubleshoot & fix existing test equipment, perform test experiments and create test reports.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 4-year degree in engineering, engineering technology, physical science or other related fields or combination of education and experience will be considered

• 7+ years of experience in product testing of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and components.

• Proven problem solving ability with experience in root cause analysis, statistical analysis, Weibull analysis and other problem solving tools, preferable with Minitab

• Experience with test procedure creation, test plan creation, test reporting and administration

• Experience with NI DAQ LabVIEW, NI Test Station and PLC’s systems is desirable

• Experience in managing multiple projects with cross-functional teams
