Job Responsibilities

Join our team as a Project Manager, responsible for expanding our industrial controls business. This includes concrete batching controls, engineering services for the panel shop, and solutions. You will manage all aspects of each project, starting with smaller automation projects and gradually taking on more. The role requires frequent interfacing with internal departments such as Controls and Electrical Engineers, and direct communication with customers primarily through email and phone calls.

Hard Skills

• AAS or BS degree in Engineering (Electrical or Controls preferred)

• 7+ years of electrical industrial controls experience and/or trade-related experience and knowledge

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

• OSHA-30 certification (within six months if not already certified)

• Electrical installation/System Integration experience and/or prior supervisory experience

• Project Management experience (managing scope, budget, timelines; interfacing with customers and internal departments)

• Experience as a Controls Engineer (knowledge of PLCs, Automation)

• Experience/knowledge with Control Panels (Electrical, Schematics, control panel manufacturing)

• Knowledge of UL and NEC

• Ability to read BOMs and CAD drawings

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Soft Skills

• Proficiency in virtual communication tools

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong organizational skills

Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring presence in the office in Cary, North Carolina 1-2 days per week. The role involves limited travel (10-20%), interfacing with Engineering and the panel shop, and communicating with customers primarily via phone, email, and virtual meetings, with occasional face-to-face interactions.
