Who we are looking for

Purpose

This position contributes to the company's success by providing commercial support for Chiesi USA’s commercial contracting team (National Accounts, Contracts, and Finance) for a diverse group of products in various care settings. The Contract Analyst plays a pivotal role in managing and maintaining membership and affiliation assignments, ensuring seamless eligibility processes for both internal and external stakeholders. This position is responsible for the setup and management of contracts and rebates, including ongoing communication with wholesalers to facilitate smooth operations. The Analyst collaborates closely with National Account Managers (NAMs) to develop detailed reports and presentations on contract performance and rebate structures. Additionally, this role supports the processing of chargebacks and assists the other Contracts Analyst with rebate calculations and adjudications. By ensuring accurate and efficient handling of these critical functions, the Membership and Contract Analyst contributes to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the organization’s contract management and membership processes. This candidate would work a hybrid model out of our Cary, NC office.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage eligibility requests from internal and external stakeholders and communicate with wholesalers regarding eligibility and contract details.

  • Manage contract processing:

  • Execute the initial setup and creation of contracts and rebates.

  • Update, extend, and manage existing contracts.

  • Support rebate calculations and adjudications.

  • Create and maintain monthly and quarterly reports.

  • Assist with processing chargebacks to ensure accuracy in transactions.

  • Work closely with internal and external customers, including but not limited to National Account Managers, Market Access team, Commercial, Financial, Government Pricing, and Business Knowledge teams.

  • Develop and maintain internal pricing dashboards.

  • Support ad hoc analysis as needed.

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical contracts and/or analytics and/or data processing preferred.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas (macros preferred).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate large datasets.

  • Experience with reporting tools and data visualization software is a plus (Power BI).

  • Strong orientation to manage the initial setup and creation of contracts and rebates.

  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing timely and effective support to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Fast-paced decision-making and prioritizing of competing business priorities.

  • Ability to analyze and organize data from multiple sources.

Education

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited university.
