MTC Supervisor, Facility Maintenance in Carville, Louisiana

Overview

Wage - $50,000 annually

Schedule Full Time, 8hr shifts, Monday Friday

What you will be doing: Youll be responsible for the management of the facility maintenance department in compliance with government and management directives, regulations and laws.

Essential Functions:

  1. Conduct regular inspections and perform maintenance and repair of facility locks and doors, electronics and maintain an effective work order system and equipment as needed.

  2. Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery services. Prepare related reports.

  3. Maintain effective and timely work order and preventive maintenance systems, and document work orders. Monitor daily productivity of staff members to reduce inefficiencies and minimize task completion.

  4. Follow all safety regulations to include the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for self as well as offenders assigned to the maintenance department.

It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.

Education/Experience requirements:

  • Bachelors degree preferred and two (2) years related experience or

  • Six (6) years experience in building, grounds, equipment maintenance, and HVAC; one (1) of which should be supervisory.

  • A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
