ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES This position performs concession duties for Moore County Parks and Recreation; completes transactions using a touch screen cash register; stocks/preps concession items; cleans concession and equipment nightly and maintain a clean work environment to meet health standards and guidelines; does related work as required.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Ability to use touch screen cash register Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with other staff and customers Ability to relay orders to other staff correctly Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, staff, and the general public
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Must be at least 16 years of age Must be available to work nights and weekends
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This is medium work requiring the exertion of 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; work requires climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; visual acuity is required for use of measuring devices, operation of machines or equipment, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work, and observing general surroundings and activities; must be able to stand for long periods of time; the worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions. The worker may be exposed to bloodborne pathogens and may be required to wear specialized personal protective equipment.
