This Position is for a General Production Labor - 2nd Shift with a company located in Carthage.

 

Job Summuary: This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position could work in any area of the Fresh Processing to include the DSI, Debone, Deli lines and Evisceration. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities: Be able to push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds for some positions. Must be willing to work in damp, cold or hot environments, reach above shoulder level. Be able to stand 8- 10 hours a day on hard surfaces. 

Able to perform repetitive motion. Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas. Must wear PPE, frocks, gloves, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.
