Aston Carter AR Specialist in Cartersville, Georgia
Description:
- Review open AR balances daily - Verify current collection items are open and not previously paid - Use for reporting progress of successful collection of past due items - Follow up on collection efforts and communication with customers - Maintain log of collection efforts and communications - Create and maintain a dunning process - Report responses and/or disputes - Confirm/update Airport Shop customer contacts - Confirm current contact information in SAP is valid - Obtain valid contact information - Contact Airport Shop to obtain current contact info - Research through company website - Define/document methods to improve collection activities on shared site - Generate daily report from SAP of open items that are outstanding - Customer ledgers report real time data - Determine how the customers are being billed - Develop master invoice summary by customer for billing - Download individual invoice for billing - Determine how the customers receive their invoices - Submit invoices via customer portal (i.e., Coupa) - Submit invoices via email (most common) - Track down status of invoices submitted via paper (at A-Shop) - Categorize customers by how they pay (credit card/ACH/Wire/Check) - Follow up credit card term billing that has not processed (should be automatic) - Determine where physical check has been sent for payment - Negotiate with customers to change payment methods to ACH/Wire - Determine if customer needs to be put on credit hold or removed from customer active customer list
