Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of key global Digital Engineering related initiatives.

  • Partner with customers and interested parties to identify essential user needs.

  • Collaborate with J&J Innovation teams, customers, and internal and external partners to exchange information and apply knowledge in implementing digital tools.

  • Evaluate technology that will enable project data information management from design to operations and maintenance, increasing speed and quality over paper-based processes.

  • Discover potential areas for improvement and coordinate test and learning processes for new software and tools, ensuring alignment with project teams prior to implementation.

  • Develop and deploy Building Information Modeling (BIM) models, data requirements, and digital document management systems for seamless transition of data across facility lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with data owners to align master data and operational data requirements with life cycle expectations.

  • Develop and deploy Asset Information Requirements aligned with business priorities and Digital Engineering strategy.

  • Develop and implement requirements for new tools to store and maintain key system and facility information.

  • Collaborate with JJT and E&D team to incorporate new tools into the Digital Strategy.

  • Contribute expertise and lead projects related to systems, data, and document management.

  • Develop and present value case to senior leaders within E&PS and Sectors to create demand and gain alignment on global deployment.

  • Develop and maintain metrics and report on overall program progress.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in Engineering, Architecture, Computer Science, or a related scientific field from an accredited institution.

  • MBA or Master's degree in a Technical field is highly desirable.

Experience & Skills

Required:

  • Minimum of four to six (4-6) years of related work experience.

  • Prior experience working with capital construction project teams.

  • Prior experience working in a health care environment (Pharmaceuticals, Medical Device, Consumer Products).

  • Knowledgeable in construction practices and working with construction managers, design engineering firms, contractors, and consultants.

  • Experience in leading groups and developing individuals across a global organization.

  • Experience with Document Control and Management systems.

  • Experience with Data Management and Visualization Systems such as Power BI.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience as a Project Manager or Consulting Design Engineer.

  • Prior experience in Project Delivery, Facility Management or Make Operations.

  • Preference for individuals with strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a global setting.

Other:

  • Language Requirements: Proficiency (both oral and written) in English is required.

  • Travel Requirements: This position may require up to 25% domestic and international travel.

  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $90,000 to $144,900

  • The anticipated base pay range for this position, in the Bay Area, is $105,000 to $166,635

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

  • Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

  • Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
